Happy Wedesday! So it's the middle of the week and as always, we're looking forward to the weekend. Well, it's going to be shopping for me actually, but what I'd really like to do is sit in my garden contemplating life!

I don't have a big garden, but it really isn't difficult to make a small space into an interesting environment, as I have blogged before. I am a big advocater of forming zones - I do this inside and out and I find it's a bit like painting a picture; you find a subject and off you go....

I'm a massive colour fan, as you know and my garden is no exception. Inexpensive, but design classics from Ikea and B&Q can make your garden look like a designer haven. Even if you dont have many plants, the furniture does all the work for you! But you don't have to stick to colour bursts......

By zoning, you can have sobre and more sedate areas as well. so get out there this weekend, do a bit of planning and zoning in your gareden/outside space, whatever the size and see what you can produce.

Just before I go, take a closer look at my grass. Looks good doesn't it? Well I'll let you into a little secret. It's a product callled Easigrass, based in Cheshire and is billed as a'smart' grass. It's amazing - never needs cutting, doesn't fade, is pet friendly, child friendly and even environmentally friendly, as it's made from recycled tyres. Enjoy your outdoors and Ciao for now! x
